Why should I buy from an online dispensary?

If you have been buying weed since before legalization, you might already know the answer to this, but for those who don’t, let’s break it down!

Before 2017, there was a thriving “grey market” business of dispensaries, and almost no one was selling online. The notable and successful dispensaries had unique connections to ethical, craft growers who were masters of their craft. The quality of weed in Canada was never better than the years leading up to legalization.

Once the switch flipped, the new Cannabis Act made it supremely difficult for any of these “grey market” stars to make the transition to the legal space. As a result, with their doors closing, most of these dispensaries moved to the online space, equipped with their customers email list, and essentially moved everything online.

All this to say, the cannabis products that you can purchase from an online dispensary (which we now call the “legacy market”) is largely the same group of cannabis rockstars that were ruling the industry pre-legalization. So what does that mean?

It means high quality product at cheaper prices. Because we buy straight from the producers, there is no tax or markups. In turn, that brings you product at a much better price.

For products like edibles, the difference is vast. In the legal space edibles are no more than 5 or 10 mg THC per piece. In the legacy market, we offer up to 2,250 mg THC products. The easiest way to remember is this: what the legal market charges for 10 mg THC, we charge for 100 mg THC.

Where does Lucky get its product?

Lucky Herbz works closely with small batch, craft producers in beautiful British Columbia. All of our BC bud is grown to our ethical standards and all product has been internally tested.

In addition to our flower offerings, our other brands we carry are exclusively from BC.

British Columbia is the home of pot in Canada. BC Bud is famous across the globe, mostly for its potent kush strains like Pink Kush and Death Bubba. Why is the weed so good in BC? It is because of the wondrous northern rain forest climate our province enjoys.

Are the photos real?

Absolutely! All of our photos are absolutely 100 percent real. We take well lit, professional photos of every product that comes through our doors so you can see exactly what you’re getting!

What does indica and sativa mean?

When talking about the effects of cannabis, strains are divided into 2 basic categories, indica and sativa.

In a nutshell, indica is down and sativa is up. The indica effects are often focused on the body with calm, sedative, sleepy effects. Conversely, sativa effects are generally centred in the mind, with energetic, creative, and giggly effects.

Is it cheaper to buy an ounce?

Absolutely. You get price breaks when you purchase more. By the time you reach the ounce, you’re saving 30% or more!

When you buy from a mail order website, it makes sense to buy a little more! That way, you are paying for less shipping costs.

Why is weed called flower?

The dried buds, commonly referred to as weed or pot, are actually the flowers of a cannabis plant. Because of modern cultivation techniques and years of breeding, the flowers present themselves as dense nuggets.

Unlike tobacco, the actual leaves of a cannabis plant are not smoked.
